My Christmas Tradition | Part Two

I previously spoke about my Christmas tradition of giving to an Angel Tree organization every year. This year I chose a little 10 year old girl (through AIDS Alabama) and realized quickly that this was going to be an overwhelming expense for my room mate and I. For two struggling 20-somethings, it was starting to look daunting. However, I have some really amazing friends! Together - Mallory, Britney, Summer, Jennifer, Lindsay, Molly, Meghan, Kelly, Tara, and I were able to give this girl a great holiday! Everyone chipped in what they could and together we were able to get everything on this girl's list and more! Thanks to everyone who donated to the cause! Below are pictures of what we were able to give our sweet little angel! I am sure this will help her have a very merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

  4. I'm so glad you were able to collect so much stuff! I hope she likes the pjs. When I picked them out I was like "Purple?! With stars! Done!!" I love how I'm passing my love for purple on to others, whether they like it or not.

  5. Summer, It was quite a haul! I asked Mallory if the lady at the organization had some sort of reaction like "Whoa... that's a lot of stuff!" But apparently the girl was just so happy that we put everything in labeled boxes that it overshadowed the actual stuff.

Jen, they were super soft, cute, and very warm looking. Perfect for this cold winter we're about to have!

Overall, I was very excited to have so many great friends to help out (plus we have really good taste!). I will definitely be planning to do this again next year! This is the one group project that is always fun!
